According to this Medical Xpress article, a trial of engineered stem cells has targeted HIV and suppressed it in animals –that’s in italics because it has not been tried in humans, yet:
“We believe that this study lays the groundwork for the potential use of this type of an approach in combating HIV infection in infected individuals, in hopes of eradicating the virus from the body,” [said Scott G.
